The Starter Batteries：
1- The instantaneous and short-time discharge current is particularly large, which makes it easier to ignite and start the vehicle.
2- The positive and negative terminals are large and the plates are large, which can carry instantaneous large currents.
3- It can adapt to charging and discharging at any time. After the vehicle is started, the starting battery is always charged.
4- Compared with power batteries, starting batteries have fewer plates and more electrolytes, which can meet the heat dissipation requirements.
The Power Batteries:
Power batteries mainly provide power for electric vehicles and maintain the operation of the entire vehicle’s circuits and control systems.
1- Power batteries have a large capacity, it can discharge continuously to support the vehicles working for a long time.
2- The volume and weight should be moderate to control the space and weight of the whole vehicle.
3- The terminal of power batteries is small usually, so it cannot carry a large current, otherwise it will shorten the battery life or even damage the battery.
Thus, it is not acceptable to install electric bike batteries on motorcycles. If used for a long time, the excessive current at the start will quickly shorten the service life of the electric vehicle battery. Moreover, the general design flow of electric vehicle batteries is 20A. If such a current is placed on a motorcycle, especially a motorcycle with an electronic fuel injection system, it is easy to cause an electronic fuel injection system failure.
The discharge time of car and motorcycle batteries is shorter than that of electric vehicle batteries. Generally, the discharge time of starter batteries will be shortened rapidly when the current increases, because after the discharge current increases, part of the electric energy will be lost and converted into heat energy. Therefore, starter batteries installed in electric vehicles cannot run far and are not durable.
